My favourite is still Contest, his first book and a fantastic science fiction read. I was in town in mid Feb 2015 and saw The Great Zoo of China in Dymocks bookshop, read the blurb and bought it. Devoured it in 2-3 days, which is my norm for rollicking yarns. I have now lent it to my eldest son to read. A great concept from left field and a wonderful exploration of Jurassic Park on steroids!

I can definitely see this one going to the big screen. And he's an Australian author!
